Respuesta: Yes, but you have to make sure Noise Cancelling is turned on using the app first. It remembers the last setting used (noise cancelling or ambient sound) and I'm not sure you can change it without connecting the app, which won't connect when the 3.5mm jack is inserted. -

Respuesta: Hi, you don't need to replace the ear pads as they will last for years. By the time they do need replacing you will be thinking of an upgrade as technology advances for the better. I'm pleased with mine and they are so comfortable to wear, no worries, no problems, no regrets. Yes you can replace the ear pads but I personally don't think that you need to. -

Are these sweatproof?
Respuesta: The headphones don't have an IP rating and there are numerous vent, mic and other openings on the body of each earcup. Most of the openings are on the lower area of the earcups where they would be protected from falling liquids by the body of the earcup, but there is an array of holes (which I presume is some sort of vent) near the top where liquid could gain access. So it really comes down to how much sweat you think they will be exposed to. -

How do these compare to the Sony 1000XM4/XM5?
Respuesta: I found the sound to be more lively in the midrange than the XM5's which suits me better. The Sonys sounded duller but then the range I can hear is only between 25Hz & 12.1 KHz. Unfortunately, the selection of LDAC transmitter/receivers to use them wirelessly is very limited with the other two options they have being SBC & AAC which are not the best sounding alternatives. But obviously wired will always produce the best sound so long as the transmitting DAC is high quality.
