While its effectiveness is questionable compared to its competitor Paula's Choice, it does work for some customers. The BHA is suitable for all skin types including dry skin and is not recommended for use near the eye area. However, some customers have received damaged, unsealed packaging with a half-empty bottle, leading them to believe it was a counterfeit item.
