responder: When my switch is in the off position my trim still works. There fore the trim is independent of the switch as far as I can determine. -

responder: Yes I think so. My Merc is fuel injected so I don’t ever choke it but the key does appear to press in to choke. -

responder: I can't say positively but I'm guessing it will work. It seemed universal for the Merc 4 stroke. I used it for my 40hp 4 stroke and it was wire for wire replacement. -

responder: Boat style has nothing to do with whether or not the switch will work on it. Pertains to year and make of engine only. -
