Users can craft music with it alone without needing any other attachments. It comes with a price tag of over six-hundo, which one needs to Consider before making the purchase. However, it is a jack-of-all-trades product that can accomplish most things well, and the manufacturer provides excellent support for its products. The Blackbox Studio works well with MIDI controllers, plays well with a variety of equipment, and has a microSD card slot for storing samples. The sound input/output is true stereo (mono optional, specific to each sample) and is of excellent quality. Traditional linear sampling is much easier and quicker on this device compared to a computer. The device has a per-pad mixer on its primary menu, and 16 pads in total connected to the device. The song mode is helpful for maximizing the number of sequences that can be stored, but users should read up on it, as the workflow is different. Objectivity is essential while using this device, as it is easy to lose yourself in the workflow, which can sometimes result in poor output quality.
