    responder: Unit is supplied with a blank bung to make your installation as easy as possible

  • pregunta: If i don’t remove the plug on the cable, can i cut the rubber in half? will it still create a good seal? not sure how else to get the big plug thru

    responder: Not sure if you can cut it, but when I did mine, I unpinned my plugs and ran them thru. Then re pinned the plug on the other side. You could also just cut the wires and solder them back together.

    responder: Yes, anything under 18mm
  • pregunta: What are the actual dimensions of this?

    responder: According to the Scanstrut website: Length 3.9 inches, Width 1.8 inches & Height 0.7 inch

    responder: Aluminum. I mounted it for a light bar on my jeep. Sealed up quite nicely.
  • pregunta: Do all the holes have to be populated, or could I by the multi to plan for future additions?

    responder: This comes with no pre made holes. You have drill the holes in the rubber yourself. Therefore you can simply only drill one hole and populate that.
  • pregunta: Will this fit a 2/0 battery cable?

    responder: I believe so. The data sheet shows a max cable OD of 15mm(.59") and 2/0 cable should be around 13.34mm(.523"). You drill your own hole through the rubber seal and you will only be able to fit the cable and insulation through...not a complete assembly with a lug.
  • pregunta: I have two cables which are less than 15mm but in order to pass the cable connector through the deck i will have to drill two (2) one inch diameter ho

    responder: why?
  • pregunta: Would I be able to pull four MC4 solar connectors and cables through this?

    responder: I think the cables will pass through but not the connectors themselves without modifying the rubber plug. I cut cables and spliced when I had to do things like that.
