The 7-piece connectors are great for solar panel installation. All the connector pins are made to be soldered to #8AWG wire, fitting perfectly when closing together. This product has solid one-time crimping without needing to cut off the ears like other connectors. However, there is a need for a hydraulic or similar crimper, as they can't be crimped otherwise. These connectors come with spanners that make them straightforward to use. It's water-tight, fitting 8 gauge PV wire without a problem.
