This system uses pressure sensors to understand external static pressure changes imparted by opening and closing vents throughout the home HVAC system which makes it safer than manual vent systems that homeowners commonly use. Additionally, it has been extensively tested by a Lawrence Berkeley National Labs study, which concluded that the system is safe. The Flair Pucks and Smart Vents work with Ecobee and Room Sensors and are designed to never close more than 1/3 of vents in a system, ensuring the utmost safety. Also, the company is the only Smart Vent company that offers a wired-powered option for vents, so the customer never has to think about batteries ever again. It is easy to connect the system with a remote sensor from ecobee or Honeywell WiFi-connected smart thermostats. The vents work well and are incredibly easy to install. The manufacturer's instructions make it easy to install without professional assistance. They can also connect several Smart Vents to a single puck for manual control.
