The Ibanez AS53 is a 335-style guitar with great playability, impressive acoustics and earthy tonality. The U-shaped neck is thinner compared to a Les Paul, and easy to play. It is well-constructed, and the edging is well-done. However, finishing on the body is not even as it lacks a shiny sunburst finish. Unluckily, this guitar is not suitable for high-level players as the neck and fingerboard are not comfortable. The pickups produce a nice tone, and the guitar is light in weight. Unfortunately, there have been incidences of arriving with damages to the pickups. The AS53 does not come with a carrying case.
