KS Cables Editorial Review
The KS Link Cable Set, LEV, LEVDX, LEV272, 2018-19 E20 seems to have mixed reviews from customers. One customer asked about the purpose of the "white dot" on the cable, and another customer replied that it is actually a glue/resin ball that holds the string in place. Another customer inquired if the cable could act as a stopper for a standard brake cable, as they were repairing a stroller that used a custom length brake cable. The response stated that the cable gauge is smaller than brake cables and it has a barrel end, which may not fit the brake lever correctly. The customer was advised to search for a brake cable specifically for their stroller. Regarding instructions or videos for installation, a customer mentioned that they did not receive any instructions with the product. However, they recommended watching videos from Park Tool on dropper post installation or cable replacement before attempting the installation. Lastly, a customer asked if the cable would fit a Specialized Command Post. The response clarified that the KS Lev parts are specifically for an externally routed KS dropper, while the Specialized Command Post is an internally routed cable dropper post. Overall, the reception of the KS Link Cable Set, LEV, LEVDX, LEV272, 2018-19 E20 seems to be mixed, with some customers finding the product useful for their specific needs, while others encountered compatibility issues.
