Thors Paperback - Review Thors is a series that takes place in Battleworld, where crime is fought by the Thor corps under the direction of the allfather Doom. It is a fun and interesting way to explore various Thor iterations as the various Thors team up to solve murders in a noir-ish crime procedural. The book contains Thors issues #1-4 and two classic issues of Thor when he was first turned into a frog by Loki. It is a decent way to pass a couple of hours, and it gives insight into upcoming plot elements in Jason Aaron's mainstream Thor run. The art in the book is impressive, with street bum Loki looking particularly good. However, the plot is a little perfunctory, although it is essential reading as it shows how the Mighty Thor of the 616 universe manages to rally the Thor police force into joining the fight against Doom. Some readers felt that this book was not entertaining while others felt that it was a fantastic read for any and all Thor fans. The connection between Jane Foster and her duplicates is fascinating to explore, and Loki's part in the story is interesting. Overall, Thors is a solid 3-star book that is perfect for those who love Thor and police procedural stories.
