The magnified side of the mirror is helpful in tasks such as plucking eyebrows or locating something in your eye. The base to the top of the mirror is 16 inches while the diameter of the mirror is 7 7/8 inches from edge to edge, and 7 inches for just the mirror itself. The make of the mirror does not feature a tint and there is no light featured with the mirror. The country of origin appears to be from The People's Republic of China. With a look of Satin Nickel, reviewers find this product to be very nice and elegant. Although some reviewers do state that they wish there was a magnifier size in between 8x and 10x. In addition, some may find the magnified side more concave than desired, making it harder to see if not at the right spot.
